Primary Insight
Scientists have found that within the same species, attraction is often influenced by chemical messengers called pheromones. These compounds can increase desire and attraction in a partner.
Result
A personalized perfume creation experience where users complete a survey about their ideal partner, resulting in a custom scent designed to attract that specific type of person.
The Preference Quiz that the Allure website uses to curate each customers custom fragrance is the most unique aspect of the brand and sets it apart from its competitors. The Quiz is broken into three parts, each to represent a different level of the fragrance’s notes.
The matching system allows for there to be over 13,000 possible fragrance combinations for the custom scents.
